Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB1469 by Bettencourt (Relating to requiring certain information before being employed by a child-care facility.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require an applicant for a position with a child-care facility to submit, using a form adopted by the department, a pre-employment affidavit disclosing whether the applicant has ever been charged with, adjudicated for or convicted of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.It is assumed that any costs to the Department of Family and Protective Services and the Health and Human Services Commission could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
