The bill would create Class A misdemeanor offenses for intentionally failing to provide an election precinct with the required number of ballots and for intentionally failing to promptly supplement the distributed ballots upon request by a polling place. The bill would increase the penalty for certain offenses relating to the distribution of election supplies and unlawfully revealing certain information before polls close. It assumed that any fiscal impact and impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.
