The bill would amend the Election Code to authorize the Secretary of State to order a new election in certain counties in certain circumstances.  Expenses related to the new election would be paid by the counties and no significant fiscal impact to the state is required.  Local Government ImpactThe fiscal implications of the bill cannot be determined at this time; however, there could be a significant fiscal impact for counties required to fund an additional election.
