The bill would amend Section 3000.002, Government Code, by adding certain energy codes, energy and water conservation design standards, and high performance building standards to the list of exceptions allowed by statute relating to the regulation of  building materials and methods by a national model code.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
