RULEMAKING AUTHORITY This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency. SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS SECTION 1. Amends Section 2306.2585(a), Government Code, to authorize the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to administer a homeless housing and services program in each municipality in this state with a population of 200,000 or more, rather than 285,500 or more, for certain purposes. SECTION 2. Effective date: September 1, 2023.
