A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the creation of the Big Bend Regional Emergency Service
District
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 775, Health and Safety Code, is amended
to read as follows:
CHAPTER 775.400 BIG BEND REGIONAL EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT
SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Sec. 775.401. The Big Bend Regional Emergency Service
District shall be established through collaboration of Brewster,
Jeff Davis, and Presidio counties.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect September 1, 2023.
