The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to update rules and provide technical assistance to ensure compliance with the policy related to services provided by a physician who is not a member of a hospital's staff. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
