Local Government ImpactContingent on the passage of a constitutional amendment (SJR 32), the bill would allow certain conservation and reclamation districts located in El Paso County to issue bonds for the development and maintenance of recreational facilities that are supported by property taxes. It is unknown if and in what amount a bond issuance may occur; as such, the fiscal impact on units of local governments cannot be determined.
