R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Peter Christopher Wallace is participating in that
joyful occasion with his graduation from Stephen F. Austin High
School in Austin on May 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2023 will soon
go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at Stephen F.
Austin High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and
experiences that Mr. Wallace has gained there will forever enrich
his life; and
WHEREAS, The son of Margaret Frain Wallace and Darrel
Wallace, Peter Wallace has distinguished himself as a member of the
football and water polo teams at Austin High, and he represented his
school in the University Interscholastic League Regional
Semi-Finals in water polo, as well as on the All-District 2nd Team;
he plans to continue his education at Austin Community College; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 88th Texas Legislature
hereby congratulate Peter Christopher Wallace on the occasion of
his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Wallace as an expression of high regard by the
Texas Senate.
