SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 677
WHEREAS, Robert Haley has ably served his fellow Texans as
committee director for the Nominations Committee during the 88th
Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Haley ensured the smooth operation of the
committee through his outstanding organizational skills,
meticulous attention to detail, and comprehensive understanding
of the complex nomination proceedings; he communicated
effectively and maintained positive interpersonal relationships
to foster an environment of trust and respect and to ensure
successful collaboration with committee members, legislators,
stakeholders, and nominees; and
WHEREAS, Promoting a transparent nominating process and
maintaining its integrity, Mr. Haley conducted thorough
background checks and careful reviews of qualifications; his
impartial, comprehensive, and well-reasoned evaluations of
nominees played a significant role in the appointment of highly
qualified individuals to key positions in state government; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his
duties as committee director with diligence, professionalism,
and a steadfast commitment to excellence, and he is indeed
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, hereby commend Robert Haley for his service as
committee director for the Nominations Committee and extend to
him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his
endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Mr. Haley as an expression of high regard from the
Texas Senate.
