 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in
 Dumas has been recognized as one of the top long-term care nursing
 facilities in the nation by U.S. News and World Report; and
 WHEREAS, In addition to the national rating, MNRC was ranked
 among the top five percent of skilled nursing homes in Texas on the
 U.S. News and World Report list of Best Nursing Homes for 2022-2023;
 facilities are evaluated on stringent factors that include resident
 care and safety, registered nurse and weekend staffing, health
 inspections, infection rates, and success in preventing emergency
 room and hospital visits; additionally, the center has earned the
 highest rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services;
 and
 WHEREAS, Established more than 40 years ago, MNRC is a member
 of the Moore County Hospital District, whose mission is to improve
 the health status of the people of the district and the surrounding
 rural communities; the center's registered and licensed vocational
 nurses and certified nursing assistants and medication aides
 provide quality and compassionate care to residents who benefit
 from an experienced staff as well as from a wide range of activities
 and a recent facility renovation; and
 WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Memorial Nursing and
 Rehabilitation Center has been a trusted resource to countless area
 Texans, and its designation as one of the top nursing homes in the
 U.S. is a testament to the institution's ongoing commitment to
 excellence; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate the Memorial
 Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on being named one of the top
 long-term care nursing facilities in the nation by U.S. News and
 World Report and that all those associated with the facility be
 extended sincere best wishes for continued success with their
 important work; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for MNRC as an expression of high regard by the Texas House
 of Representatives.
