It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactAccording to information from the Public Utility Commission, there could be a fiscal impact to local government entities as they would be required to pay the annual and per call fee, however this impact cannot be estimated by the agency.According to information from the Commission on Environmental Quality, there could be a fiscal impact to local water and wastewater systems as they would be required to pay the annual and per call fee, report underground facilities, and mark locations as required in the field. However, this impact cannot be estimated by the agency.
