A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to incentives for the moving image industry in this state.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 485.022, Government Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (g) to read as follows:
(g) The office may require a production company applying for
a grant under this subchapter to certify that, with respect to the
moving image project that is the subject of the application, the
production company will conform with guidelines adopted by the
office relating to the safe use of firearms in moving image
productions.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
