The fiscal implications of the bill cannot be determined due to the lack of data to estimate the prevalence of conduct outlined in the bill's provisions that would be subject to criminal penalties. The bill would expand conduct constituting the offense of firearm smuggling to include when the person knowingly transports or transfers ammunition that was acquired in violation of the laws of any state or the United States. The bill would expand the conduct constituting terrorism to include certain offenses in the titled categories: offenses against the person; against property; against public administration; and against public health, safety, and morals.The impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources cannot be determined due to the lack of data to estimate the prevalence of conduct outlined in the bill's provisions that would be subject to criminal penalties.
