 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 AN ACT
 relating to Medicaid coverage and reimbursement for certain
 cancer-related treatments or items.
 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
 SECTION 1.  Subchapter B, Chapter 32, Human Resources Code,
 is amended by adding Section 32.0427 to read as follows:
 Sec. 32.0427.  REIMBURSEMENT FOR CERTAIN CANCER-RELATED
 TREATMENTS OR ITEMS. The commission shall ensure that medical
 assistance reimbursement is provided to a health care provider for
 providing the following treatments or items in relation to cancer
 treatment:
 (1)  physical therapy;
 (2)  dental services related to the effects of
 chemotherapy or radiation, including:
 (A)  oral surgery;
 (B)  dental implants;
 (C)  dental veneers; and
 (D)  dentures;
 (3)  compression garments, including:
 (A)  sleeves;
 (B)  gloves; and
 (C)  gauntlets; and
 (4)  mastectomy products, including:
 (A)  shells;
 (B)  shapers; and
 (C)  prostheses.
 SECTION 2.  If before implementing any provision of this Act
 a state agency determines that any other waiver or authorization
 from a federal agency is necessary for implementation of that
 provision, the agency affected by the provision shall request the
 waiver or authorization and may delay implementing that provision
 until the waiver or authorization is granted.
 SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
