Wilson, Chair, House Committee on Higher Education FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE: HB3204 by Metcalf (Relating to the Polytechnic College at Sam Houston State University, including the college's eligibility to participate in certain programs.), As Introduced No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would allow the Polytechnic College at Sam Houston State University to be eligible for formula funding in the same manner as a public state college and for students that attend the college to be eligible for the Texas Educational Opportunity Grant Program.
