The bill would restrict certain public employers from inquiring about an applicant's criminal history before making a conditional job offer, except in cases where specific convictions would legally disqualify the applicant. It is assumed that any related costs could be absorbed using existing resources.   Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
