The bill would allow a court of competent jurisdiction to appoint a receiver for a single source continuum contractor. This bill would define proceedings to appoint a receiver, qualifications, assessments, powers and duties, compensation, liability, and termination of receivership. It is assumed any costs to the Office of Court Administration, the Health and Human Services Commission, and the Department of Family and Protective Services could be absorbed within existing appropriations.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
