The bill would amend the Government Code to establish the Department of Marketing Services. The Department would be governed by a board composed of seven members appointed by the Governor, with Senate confirmation. This analysis assumes that Department of Marketing Services would be administratively supported by the Office of the Governor and that the estimated costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
