It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactThere could be an impact to municipalities that annex land. The municipality would need to provide full municipal services, at cost, within a certain period or a court may order disannexation of the land following an action brought by an affected landowner.
