 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The Regional Hispanic Contractors Association is
 celebrating the 30th anniversary of its founding at Construction
 Industry Day at the State Capitol on February 5, 2025; and
 WHEREAS, Originally called the Hispanic Contractors
 Association of DFW, the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association
 was established in 1995, and it has since dedicated itself to
 promoting the economic and professional growth of its members in
 the architectural, engineering, and construction industry; and
 WHEREAS, Over the years, RHCA has grown to represent a
 diverse membership that encompasses general contractors,
 subcontractors, small business owners, engineers, architects,
 construction workers, safety training educators and instructors,
 and students, and its many services include safety and business
 development training, bilingual classes, and networking
 opportunities and events; moreover, the association collaborates
 with various public agencies through its advocacy initiatives, and
 its Contractor Business Center assists contractors with project
 procurement, construction safety, and sustainability; and
 WHEREAS, Today, RHCA benefits from the able leadership of
 president and chief executive officer John H. Martinez-D., as well
 as RHCA board chair Rey Roca, vice chair Veronica Muñoz, immediate
 past-chair Luis Delgado, treasurer Clint Binkley, secretary Marvin
 Jackson, parliamentarian Angela M. Lopez, and members Ruben Arias,
 Shaun Duron, Christopher Escobedo, Brian Johnson, Eric Garcia,
 Maricarmen Tamez, Vladimir Naranjo, Robert Rodriguez, Julie
 Gutierrez, and Lissi Riedel; and
 WHEREAS, For three decades, the Regional Hispanic
 Contractors Association has played an invaluable role in supporting
 Hispanic professionals in the construction industry, and it is
 indeed deserving of recognition on this notable milestone in its
 history; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
 Legislature hereby commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Regional
 Hispanic Contractors Association on the occasion of Construction
 Industry Day at the State Capitol and extend to the visiting
 delegation sincere best wishes for a meaningful and memorable trip
 to Austin; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the organization as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
