H.R. No. 239
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Leadership Boerne is celebrating the 27th
anniversary of its founding in 2025; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1998, Leadership Boerne is a rigorous
yearlong program that provides participants with opportunities to
develop their leadership skills and learn more about issues
affecting Boerne, its neighboring communities, and the state at
large; this year's class is composed of 22 professionals
representing a range of industries, all of whom share an interest in
becoming more informed and engaged in civic life; and
WHEREAS, Leadership Boerne is overseen by the Greater Boerne
Chamber of Commerce, a dynamic organization of over 1,100 members;
the chamber collaborates with businesses, elected officials,
community leaders, and investment partners to promote business
growth and to provide its members with opportunities for marketing,
networking, and professional development; and
WHEREAS, For over 25 years, Leadership Boerne has played an
important role in equipping citizens with the skills, knowledge,
and confidence they need to contribute to the betterment of their
community, and the program is indeed deserving of recognition as it
marks this milestone in its history; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the 27th anniversary of Leadership
Boerne and extend to all those associated with the program sincere
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Leadership Boerne as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
