 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The family and friends of Bianca Elise Ambriz of
 Poteet suffered an immeasurable loss with her untimely passing on
 January 24, 2025, at the age of 43; and
 WHEREAS, Born in San Antonio on November 25, 1981, Bianca
 Ambriz was the daughter of Elisa and Patrick Bernal and George and
 Judith Willingham; granddaughter of Mary Esther Bernal and former
 state representative, state senator, and State Board of Education
 member Joe Bernal; she was affectionately known as "Binx" from an
 early age; devoted to her husband, Justin Ambriz, and daughter,
 Julia Ann McDonald, she brought new meaning to the term
 "homemaker," taking on spontaneous construction projects as well as
 cooking delicious meals, whether in the kitchen or on the grill; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Ambriz provided full-time care for a team of
 horses, and she fostered community among the many friends who
 shared her love of rodeo, including fellow members of the
 Bluebonnet Barrel Racing Association; admired as a true cowgirl,
 she was fearless and athletic, having found healing, strength, and
 serenity in her work with horses; and
 WHEREAS, Both fun-loving and hardworking, Mrs. Ambriz was
 licensed in the securities industry; she excelled in her career
 with Citi Wealth Management, easily grasping complex procedures and
 systems; every weekday, she was immersed in her tasks by 6:30 a.m.,
 and any time a client had an account issue, she resolved it with
 dispatch; she was a generous mentor, maintaining high standards on
 her team while also nurturing her "work family"; her colleagues
 enjoyed seeing her videos of her daughter on horseback and her pets,
 among them treasured miniature Australian shepherd Slider; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Ambriz was sustained by her loved ones and
 strong faith in her courageous battle against cancer; she passed
 away one day before her grandfather, former state senator Joe
 J. Bernal, and two days before her grandmother, Elida Hernandez;
 preceding her in death were her grandparents, Candelaria Peña,
 Mary-Esther Bernal, and Michael and Josefa Willingham; and
 WHEREAS, Bianca Ambriz led a life that was rich in the
 intangibles that matter most, and she will forever hold a special
 place in the hearts of all who were privileged to share in her love
 and affection; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Bianca Elise Ambriz
 and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
 husband, Justin Ambriz; to her daughter, Julia Ann McDonald; to her
 parents, Elisa and Patrick Bernal and George and Judith Willingham;
 to her siblings, George, Michael, Carlos, Gabriel, Jeremy, and
 Jacqueline; to her grandmother, Frances Moya; and to her many other
 relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bianca
 Ambriz.
