 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
 passing of Sulynn Elliott Bledsoe of Lampasas on January 31, 2025,
 at the age of 74; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of Peggy Hale Elliott and Jimmie
 Franklin Elliott, the former Sulynn Elliott was born in Odessa on
 May 1, 1950, and she grew up with the companionship of three
 siblings, Travis, Laura, and Daniel; after graduating from Iraan
 High School in 1968, she attended Texas A&I University and The
 University of Texas at Arlington; and
 WHEREAS, She married Bill Bledsoe in 1970, and they went on to
 share more than five decades together; she took great pride in her
 two children, Lance and Rebecca, and over the years, she had the
 pleasure of seeing her family grow to include a grandson, Colton,
 and great-grandson, Cinch; she was preceded in death by two
 grandchildren, Emma and Camden Bledsoe; and
 WHEREAS, Mrs. Bledsoe was employed as a substitute teacher
 before she accepted a position at Bank of America, and she later
 worked alongside her husband as an owner and operator of Texas
 Legato Winery in Lampasas; dedicated to her community, she
 volunteered with her church and other local organizations; during
 her leisure hours, she enjoyed playing games with her loved ones;
 and
 WHEREAS, Admired for her warm and caring nature, her
 generosity, and her steadfast devotion to her family, Sulynn
 Bledsoe brightened the world for all who knew her, and they will
 forever hold her close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Sulynn Elliott
 Bledsoe and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of her family:
 to her husband, Bill Bledsoe; to her children, Lance Bledsoe and his
 wife, Tricia, and Rebecca Petty and her husband, Cole; to her
 siblings, Travis Elliott and his wife, Blanche, Laura Tinsley, and
 Daniel Elliott and his wife, Kenna; to her grandson, Colton
 Bledsoe, and his wife, Kaitlyn; to her great-grandson, Cinch Ryder
 Bledsoe; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sulynn
 Bledsoe.
