 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Clayton Hancock has been named the 2025 Teacher of
 the Year at Burnet Middle School in the Austin Independent School
 District; and
 WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to
 become successful and productive adults, and those men and women
 who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference
 in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and
 WHEREAS, The Campus Teacher of the Year award recognizes
 full-time educators or interventionists who have taught in Austin
 ISD for at least three years and have demonstrated an unwavering
 commitment to inspiring a love of learning, building collaborative
 relationships, and creating learning experiences that lead to high
 expectations and positive outcomes; honorees are first nominated
 for consideration by their fellow faculty members, and campus
 winners become eligible for the district title; and
 WHEREAS, Clayton Hancock exemplifies the passion,
 determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our
 best teachers, and he has set a standard of excellence to which all
 in his profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Clayton Hancock on his selection as
 the 2025 Teacher of the Year at Burnet Middle School and extend to
 him sincere best wishes for continued success with his important
 work; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Hancock as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
