 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, LoveTalk Network celebrated 40 years of
 broadcasting in 2024; and
 WHEREAS, LoveTalk Network was founded by the late Evelyn
 Davison of Austin, who was inspired to share her faith with others
 after growing up listening to predominantly secular radio shows; in
 addition to her work on the program, she helped lead annual
 observances of the National Day of Prayer in Texas, wrote a
 multitude of books and articles, and served as publisher of the Good
 News Journal; she was also named America's Honorary Prayer
 Coordinator by former president George W. Bush; and
 WHEREAS, After hosting the show alone for a number of years,
 Mrs. Davison brought on Cathy Endebrock as a cohost; the two were
 later joined by Kerri Brinkoeter; upon Mrs. Davison's retirement,
 Marlene McMichael was added as a cohost; although Mrs. Davison
 passed in 2023, the trio has continued the program with the help of
 sponsors and the support of the community; and
 WHEREAS, Broadcasting weekly, LoveTalk Network offers
 faith-based insights into such important topics as health and
 wellness, emotions, and phases of life, as well as analyses of
 Biblical themes; its hosts regularly bring on guests ranging from
 influential Christian speakers to leaders in the local community;
 and
 WHEREAS, One of the longest-running female-hosted radio
 shows in the State of Texas, LoveTalk Network continues to draw a
 strong local audience; it has been incorporated into the National
 Religious Broadcasters, the world's largest association of
 Christian communicators, and it now draws international listeners
 following its expansion to podcasting and the YouTube video-sharing
 platform; and
 WHEREAS, LoveTalk Network has long served as a source of
 inspiration and guidance to its listeners, and its continued
 existence is a testament to the unwavering commitment of its hosts,
 both past and present; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
 Legislature hereby commemorate the 40th anniversary of LoveTalk
 Network and extend to its hosts sincere best wishes for continued
 success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the program as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
