The bill would add peace officers from the TJJD Office of the Inspector General (OIG) to officers eligible to receive hazardous duty pay and injury leave. The bill would add all OIG peace officers to Schedule C classification salary schedule and would require the State Auditor's Office to classify all commissioned peace officers employed by the OIG as a Schedule C position.
