The bill would expand the conduct constituting the state jail felony offense of endangering a child or elderly or disabled individual by including the manufacture, possession, or any introduction into the body of any person, of a controlled substance listed in Penalty Group 1-B in the presence of a child or elderly or disabled individual.While it is assumed that any state revenue impact would not be significant, it would be dependent on the number of offenses committed and the associated court costs. Local Government ImpactIt is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
