The bill would prohibit the investment of the Permanent University Fund, the Texas University Fund, and money held by a public institution of higher education in financial companies that boycott certain energy companies.It is assumed that due to potential changes in investment portfolios, the provisions of the bill could have an undetermined financial impact on public institutions of higher education.   Local Government ImpactNo significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
