The Department of State Health Services has indicated it would require additional staff resources to oversee the development of the training program, incorporate Texas TRAIN for on-demand continuing education and research, and develop evidence-based protocols for obstetric emergencies. It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
