Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB640 by Johnson (Relating to required reporting by the Department of Family and Protective Services regarding youth in the managing conservatorship of the department who attempt suicide.), As Introduced     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would add the number of children who attempted suicide while in managing conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services to the yearly report. The bill would also add suicide attempt as a significant change in medical condition. It is assumed that any costs to the Department of Family and Protective Services could be absorbed within existing resources.   Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
