It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactThere could be an impact to municipalities if the attorney general determines they have violated provisions of the bill. The municipality would not be able to adopt an ad valorem tax rate that exceeds the municipality's no-new-revenue tax rate for the three tax years that begin on or after the date of the determination.
