The bill would create the first degree felony offense of continuous aggravated promotion of prostitution, committed when, during a period that is 30 or more days in duration, a person engages two or more times in conduct that constitutes the offense of aggravated promotion of prostitution, and make it punishable by a minimum 25 year sentence. It is assumed that any fiscal impact and any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant. Local Government ImpactIt is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
