SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 1
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protecting America’s 2
Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act’’. 3
SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON SALES OF PETROLEUM PROD-4
UCTS FROM THE STRATEGIC PETROLEUM RE-5
SERVE TO CHINA. 6
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Sec-7
retary of Energy shall not draw down and sell petroleum 8
products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve— 9
(1) to any entity that is under the ownership, 10
control, or influence of the Chinese Communist 11
Party; or 12
(2) except on the condition that such petroleum 13
products will not be exported to the People’s Repub-14
lic of China. 15
