Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Isakson-Roe Education 4
Oversight Expansion Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. EXPANSION OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AF-6
FAIRS OVERSIGHT OF CERTAIN EDU-7
CATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. 8
(a) A
DDITIONALREQUIREMENT FORAPPROVAL.—Sec-9
tion 3675(b) of title 38, United States Code, is amended 10
by adding at the end the following new paragraph: 11
‘‘(5) The educational institution agrees to, not 12
later than 30 days after any date on which such edu-13
cational institution becomes subject to an action or 14
event described in section 3673(e)(3) of this title, sub-15
mit to the State approving agency, or the Secretary 16
when acting in the role of a State approving agency, 17
a notification of such action or event in such form 18
and containing such information as the Secretary de-19
termines appropriate.’’. 20

ONACCREDITEDCOURSES.— 22
(1) I
N GENERAL.—Section 3676(c) of such title 23
is amended— 24

(A) by redesignating paragraphs (14) 1
through (16) as paragraphs (15) through (17), 2
respectively; and 3
(B) by inserting after paragraph (13) the 4
following new paragraph: 5
‘‘(14) The institution agrees to, not later than 30 6
days after any date on which such institution becomes 7
subject to an action or event described in section 8
3673(e)(3) of this title, submit to the State approving 9
agency, or the Secretary when acting in the role of a 10
State approving agency, a notification of such action 11
or event in such form and containing such informa-12
tion as the Secretary determines appropriate.’’. 13
(2) C
ONFORMING AMENDMENTS .—Such title is 14
further amended— 15
(A) in section 3672(b)(2)(C), by striking 16
‘‘paragraph (14) or (15)’’ and inserting ‘‘para-17
graph (15) or (16)’’; 18
(B) in section 3675(b)(3), by striking ‘‘(14), 19
(15), and (16)’’ and inserting ‘‘(15), (16), and 20
(17)’’; 21
(C) in section 3679(d), by striking ‘‘de-22
scribed in paragraph (14) or (15)’’ and inserting 23
‘‘described in paragraph (15) or (16)’’; and 24

(D) in section 3680A(a)(4)(C)(iii), by strik-1
ing ‘‘section 3676(c)(14) and (15)’’ and inserting 2
‘‘section 3676(c)(15) and (16)’’. 3
(c) A
DDITIONALGROUNDS FORSUSPENSION OFAP-4
PROVAL.—Section 3679(f)(1) of such title is amended by 5
adding at the end the following new subparagraph: 6
‘‘(I) Comply with the notification requirements 7
under sections 3675(b)(5) and 3676(c)(14) of this 8
title, when applicable.’’. 9
(d) D
EADLINE FOR RISK-BASEDSURVEYSDATA-10
BASE.—The Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall establish the 11
database required under section 3673A(c) of title 38, United 12
States Code, by not later than 180 days after the date of 13
the enactment of this Act. 14
