Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Ensuring the Safety 4
of Our Mail Act of 2023’’. 5

Section 1708 of title 18, United States Code, is 3
amended by striking ‘‘not more than five years’’ and in-4
serting ‘‘not more than 10 years’’. 5
