To establish the National Equal Pay Enforcement Task 
Force, and for other purposes. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Equal Pay for Equal 4
Work Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. NATIONAL EQUAL PAY ENFORCEMENT TASK 1
FORCE. 2
(a) I
NGENERAL.—There is established the National 3
Equal Pay Enforcement Task Force, consisting of rep-4
resentatives from the Equal Employment Opportunity 5
Commission, the Department of Justice, the Department 6
of Labor, and the Office of Personnel Management. 7
(b) M
ISSION.—In order to improve compliance, public 8
education, and enforcement of equal pay laws, the Na-9
tional Equal Pay Enforcement Task Force will ensure that 10
the agencies in subsection (a) are coordinating efforts and 11
limiting potential gaps in enforcement. 12
(c) D
UTIES.—The National Equal Pay Enforcement 13
Task Force shall investigate challenges related to pay in-14
equity pursuant to its mission in subsection (b), advance 15
recommendations to address those challenges, and create 16
action plans to implement the recommendations. 17
