Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Pensacola and Perdido 4
Bays Estuary of National Significance Act of 2023’’. 5

SEC. 2. PENSACOLA AND PERDIDO BAYS. 1
Section 320(a)(2)(B) of the Federal Water Pollution 2
Control Act (33 U.S.C. 1330(a)(2)(B)) is amended by 3
striking ‘‘and Lower Columbia River, Oregon and Wash-4
ington’’ and inserting ‘‘Lower Columbia River, Oregon 5
and Washington; and Pensacola and Perdido Bays, Flor-6
ida and Alabama’’. 7
