A BILL
To provide that any foreign government official who engages
in censorship of American speech is inadmissible and
deportable.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘No Censors on our 4
Shores Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. INADMISSIBILITY AND DEPORTABILITY RELATED 1
TO CENSORING SPEECH. 2
(a) I
NADMISSIBILITY.—Section 212(a)(2) of the Im-3
migration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(2)) is 4
amended by adding at the end the following: 5
‘‘(J) C
ENSORSHIP.—Any alien who, while 6
serving as a foreign government official, was re-7
sponsible for or directly carried out, at any 8
time, any act against a United States citizen lo-9
cated in the United States that, if committed by 10
a United States government official in the 11
United States, would violate the First Amend-12
ment to the Constitution of the United States, 13
is inadmissible.’’. 14
(b) D
EPORTABILITY.—Section 237(a)(2) of the Im-15
migration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1227(a)(2)) is 16
amended by adding at the end the following: 17
‘‘(G) C
