SHORT TITLE. 1 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Local Opportunities, 2 Conservation, and American Lands Act’’ or the ‘‘LOCAL 3 Act’’. 4 SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS. 5 In this Act: 6 (1) S ECRETARY.—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means 7 the Secretary of the Interior. 8 (2) W ESTERN STATE.—The term ‘‘western 9 State’’ means any of the States of Alaska, Arizona, 10 California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New 11 Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming. 12 SEC. 3. HEADQUARTERS OFFICE OF THE BUREAU OF LAND 13 MANAGEMENT IN GRAND JUNCTION, COLO-14 RADO. 15 (a) H EADQUARTERS.—The headquarters for the Bu-16 reau of Land Management shall be located in Grand Junc-17 tion, Colorado. 18 (b) E MPLOYEESTATIONS.—All Bureau of Land 19 Management employee positions stationed in Grand Junc-20 tion, Colorado on the date of the enactment of this Act 21 shall remain stationed in Grand Junction, Colorado. 22 SEC. 4.
