A BILL 
To amend the Older Americans Act of 1965 to require re-
ports to Congress on State Long-Term Care Ombudsman 
Programs, and for other purposes. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Long-Term Care 4
Transparency Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. REPORTING ON STATE LONG-TERM CARE OMBUDS-1
MAN PROGRAMS. 2
Chapter 2 of subtitle A of title VII of the Older Amer-3
icans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 3058f et seq.) is amended 4
by adding at the end the following: 5
‘‘SEC. 714. REPORTS TO CONGRESS. 6
‘‘Each year, the Assistant Secretary shall submit, to 7
the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pen-8
sions and the Special Committee on Aging of the Senate 9
and the Committee on Education and the Workforce of 10
the House of Representatives, a report that— 11
‘‘(1) aggregates all reports submitted under sec-12
tion 712(h) for such year; and 13
‘‘(2) provides a summary of the findings of 14
such reports.’’. 15
