A BILL
To prohibit foreign assistance to countries that deny or delay
accepting aliens as described in section 243 of the Immi-
gration and Nationality Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Deportation Compli-4
ance Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON FOREIGN ASSISTANCE TO CER-1
TAIN COUNTRIES. 2
No Federal funds may be made available to provide 3
foreign assistance to any country— 4
(1) with respect to which the Secretary of State 5
has exercised the authority of section 243(d) of the 6
Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1253(d); 7
relating to discontinuing granting visas to nationals 8
of countries denying or delaying accepting aliens) for 9
a period of 180 days; and 10
(2) as of the end of such period, that continues 11
to deny or unreasonably delay accepting aliens who 12
are citizens, subjects, nationals, or residents of that 13
country, as described in section 243(d) of such Act 14
with respect to which the Secretary exercised the au-15
thority of such section. 16
