To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish
the Intelligence Rotational Assignment Program, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘DHS Intelligence Ro-4
tational Assignment Program and Law Enforcement Sup-5
port Act’’. 6

Section 844 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 4
(6 U.S.C. 414) is amended by adding at the end the fol-5
lowing new subsection: 6
‘‘(b) I
NTELLIGENCEROTATIONALASSIGNMENTPRO-7
GRAM.— 8
‘‘(1) E
STABLISHMENT.—Not later than one 9
year after the date of the enactment of this sub-10
section, the Secretary shall establish an Intelligence 11
Rotational Assignment Program as part of the Rota-12
tion Program under subsection (a). 13
‘‘(2) E
LIGIBILITY.—The Intelligence Rotational 14
Assignment Program shall be open to analysts serv-15
ing in analyst positions in an intelligence component 16
of the Department, in the Office of Strategic Intel-17
ligence and Information of the United States Secret 18
Service, or in other positions in the Department, as 19
determined by the Secretary. 20
‘‘(3) C
OORDINATION.—The responsibilities 21
specified in subsection (a)(3)(B) that apply to the 22
Rotation Program under such subsection shall, as 23
applicable, apply to the Intelligence Rotational As-24
signment Program under this subsection.’’. 25
