Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Small Business Energy 4
Loan Enhancement Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. INCREASE IN CERTAIN MAXIMUM LOAN AMOUNTS. 1
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Section 502(2)(A) of the Small 2
Business Investment Act of 1958 (15 U.S.C. 696(2)(A)) 3
is amended— 4
(1) in clause (iv), by striking ‘‘$5,500,000’’ and 5
inserting ‘‘$10,000,000’’; and 6
(2) in clause (v), by striking ‘‘$5,500,000’’ and 7
inserting ‘‘$10,000,000’’. 8
(b) R
EPORT.—Not later than 1 year after the date 9
of enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter, the Ad-10
ministrator of the Small Business Administration shall 11
submit to Congress a report that details, for the year cov-12
ered by the report, the industries and geographic areas 13
with respect to which the Administrator has made loans 14
under clauses (iv) and (v) of section 502(2)(A) of the 15
Small Business Investment Act of 1958 (15 U.S.C. 16
696(2)(A)), as amended by subsection (a). 17
