AN ACT
To amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to require reporting
relating to certain cost-share requirements, and for other
purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 1
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Cost-Share Account-2
ability Act of 2025’’. 3
SEC. 2. REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. 4
Section 988 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 5
U.S.C. 16352) is amended by adding at the end the fol-6
lowing new subsection: 7
‘‘(g) R
EPORTING.—Not later than 120 days after the 8
date of the enactment of this subsection and at least quar-9
terly thereafter, the Secretary shall submit to the Com-10
mittee on Science, Space, and Technology and Committee 11
on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the 12
Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the 13
Committee on Appropriations of the Senate, and shall 14
make publicly available, a report on the use by the Depart-15
ment during the period covered by the report of the au-16
thority to reduce or eliminate cost-sharing requirements 17
provided by subsection (b)(3) or (c)(2).’’. 18
