A BILL
To amend the Miccosukee Reserved Area Act to authorize
the expansion of the Miccosukee Reserved Area and to
carry out activities to protect structures within the Osce-
ola Camp from flooding, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Miccosukee Reserved 4
Area Amendments Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. MICCOSUKEE RESERVED AREA ADDITION. 1
Section 4(4) of the Miccosukee Reserved Area Act 2
(16 U.S.C. 410 note; Public Law 105–313) is amended 3
by adding at the end the following: 4
‘‘(C) A
DDITIONAL AREA.—In addition to 5
the land described in subparagraph (B), the 6
term ‘Miccosukee Reserved Area’ or ‘MRA’ in-7
cludes the portion of the Park that is known as 8
‘Osceola Camp’ and is depicted on the map en-9
titled ‘Everglades National Park, Proposed Ex-10
pansion–Miccosukee Reserved Area, Osceola 11
Camp’, numbered 160/188443, and dated July 12
2023, copies of which shall— 13
‘‘(i) be kept available for public in-14
spection in the offices of the National Park 15
Service; and 16
‘‘(ii) be filed with appropriate officers 17
of Miami-Dade County and the Tribe.’’. 18
SEC. 3. PROTECTION OF THE OSCEOLA CAMP FROM 19
FLOODING. 20
Section 8 of the Miccosukee Reserved Area Act (16 21
U.S.C. 410 note; Public Law 105–313) is amended by 22
adding at the end the following: 23
‘‘(j) P
ROTECTION OFOSCEOLACAMPFROMFLOOD-24
ING.—Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment 25
of this subsection, the Secretary, in consultation with the 26
