To prohibit the use of Federal funds to implement
Salmonella framework for raw poultry products.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FEDERAL FUNDS TO 3
IMPLEMENT SALMONELLA FRAMEWORK FOR 4
RAW POULTRY PRODUCTS. 5
No Federal funds may be used to finalize, implement, 6
administer, or enforce the proposed rule and proposed de-7
termination entitled ‘‘Salmonella Framework for Raw 8
Poultry Products’’ published by the Food Safety and In-9
spection Service of the Department of Agriculture in the 10
