To amend the Defense Base Act to exclude Guam.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. INAPPLICABILITY OF DEFENSE BASE ACT TO 3
GUAM. 4
Subsection (b) of section 1 of the Defense Base Act 5
(Chapter 357; 55 Stat. 622; 42 U.S.C. 1651) is amend-6
ed— 7
(1) in paragraph (4), by striking the period at 8
the end and inserting ‘‘and Guam;’’; and 9
(2) by adding at the end the following new 10
paragraph: 11
