Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Dr. Lorna Breen 4
Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act’’. 5

Section 3 of the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Pro-5
vider Protection Act (Public Law 117–105) is amended— 6
(1) in subsection (b), by inserting ‘‘and annu-7
ally thereafter,’’ after ‘‘of this Act,’’; and 8
(2) in subsection (c), by striking ‘‘2022 through 9
2024’’ and inserting ‘‘2026 through 2030’’. 10
SEC. 3. PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE MENTAL HEALTH AMONG 11
THE HEALTH PROFESSIONAL WORKFORCE. 12
(a) I
NGENERAL.—The second section 764 of the 13
Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 294t), as added by 14
section 4 of the Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider 15
Protection Act (Public Law 117–105), is amended— 16
(1) by redesignating such section 764 as section 17
764A; 18
(2) in subsection (a)(3)— 19
(A) by striking ‘‘to eligible entities in’’ and 20
inserting ‘‘to eligible entities that— 21
‘‘(A) are in’’; 22
(B) by striking the period and inserting ‘‘; 23
or’’; and 24
(C) by adding at the end the following: 25

‘‘(B) have a focus on the reduction of ad-1
ministrative burden on health care workers.’’; 2
(3) in subsection (c), by inserting ‘‘not less 3
than’’ after ‘‘period of’’; and 4
(4) in subsection (f), by striking ‘‘2022 through 5
2024’’ and inserting ‘‘2026 through 2030’’. 6
