To amend title 38, United States Code, to improve the
processes to approve programs of education for purposes
of the educational assistance programs of the Depart-
ment of Veterans Affairs, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Veterans Education 4
Transparency and Training Act’’ or the ‘‘VETT Act’’. 5

ORMS.—Section 3679(f)(5) of title 38, United States 7
Code, is amended— 8
(1) in subparagraph (A), by striking ‘‘this para-9
graph’’ and inserting ‘‘this subparagraph’’; 10
(2) in subparagraph (B), by striking ‘‘this para-11
graph’’ and inserting ‘‘subparagraph (A)’’; and 12
(3) by adding at the end the following new sub-13
paragraph: 14
‘‘(C) If an educational institution cannot provide to 15
an individual a form under paragraph (1) that contains 16
all of the information required under subparagraph (A) 17
of such paragraph, the educational institution shall pro-18
vide to such individual, with the form under such para-19
graph, a notice— 20
‘‘(i) that specifies what such information may 21
be inaccurate or incomplete; and 22
‘‘(ii) that includes, in place of the information 23
that may be inaccurate or incomplete, the best esti-24
mate available on the date of such notice.’’. 25

ING FORSCHOOLCERTIFYINGOFFICIALS.—The Sec-2
retary of Veterans Affairs shall establish a website to serve 3
as a central location for the publication of information 4
about the training that the Department of Veterans Af-5
fairs provides for school certifying officials and shall up-6
date such information on a regular basis. 7
